Why are guest characters in the series?

For the "Workin' Stiff and Friends" series to be different from the Mickey Mouse shorts, we decided to add guest characters to make it feel like it's truly unoriginal. (because it is!) The first guest character was Ronald McDonald. In Pakistan, there are terrible commercials made by McDonald's to of course, make money. And in one of them, there was a toy advertised named "Hopping Bopping Ronald McDonald. I couldn't find an image of the toy or the character, so I used a PNG of Ronald. (Which you can find on this website!) Another guest character is the legendary " Bonzi Buddy". Since he became a meme in 2008, I loved the meme ever since, I put in a PNG of Bonzi Buddy in a few of the episodes. There are other characters too, like 7 Grand Dad, and in more recent times, Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Jimmy Valmer and Timmy Burch from South Park, and Joker and Yusuke Kitagawa from Persona 5.So, the point. Why exactly does this series use background characters? Here are a few reasons.

1. To prove that Workin' Stiff and Friends really is "the most blatant series in the world".

2. For comedy and spoof. A parody is supposed to use real or off-brand characters for that purpose.

3. Because our influences (Ex. South Park & Aqua Teen Hunger Force) use real characters for parody. For example, Aqua Teen Hunger Force uses the character "Space Ghost" in the episode "The Dressing". Another instance is South Park using characters like Mickey Mouse for parody.

So, now your question about the background characters has (hopefully) been answered!
