News about Workin' Stiff and Friends.

So, by now you would've already read the title and you would've thought, "Is this about Workin' Stiff and Friends: The Toronto Raptors Special coming out soon?". To that I say... "Not quite". 

You see, this show means a lot to us at John Tvs. You might be wondering... "Why do you refer to yourself as "we" or "us" sometimes? And to that we say...

You see, back in the glorious year of 2017 AD, I began to work on more series, like JT Plushies for instance. So the thing is, Flex Central actually made the channel first, and he called himself John Tvs. I used the name Reddy Rooster to help distinguish myself from Flex Central, and this can be seen in the Season 1 episodes of Workin' Stiff and Friends.

However, Flex Central and I went our own ways. I kept the "John Tvs" moniker and the channel Daxe Cat was established. Then the name of that channel changed to Flex Corner because of Flex Seal, and I still kept the name. (...and I will still continue to.) In 2019, we made the entirety of the first season of Workin' Stiff and Friends, and the series is still talked about today.

Well, now to 2022. For years, I thought of bringing the series back with Workin' Stiff and Friends: The Toronto Raptors Special, but that will no longer be the case. The episode will still be produced, but now we have some new plans.

Yusuke Kitagawa has been taking over John Tvs ever since I first saw him, and because I wanted him to be a more major side character in the show, I pleaded for Flex to add him as such. Unfortunately, (Or should I say "fortunately"?) this role for him was rejected. So, I gave him his own series, which has its own style of writing. 

But something struck me while I was working on one of the episodes. I just really didn't want to work on Workin' Stiff and Friends anymore, but I didn't want to completely cancel the series. So what did I do? Well, I decided to give the rights of writing the show to Flex. Why? Well, Yusuke and Da' Boys!'s writing feels way too similar to Workin' Stiff and Friends, so now he is going to be writing the series.

Oh, don't be so sad! Cheer up, audience! The writing will still be funny, the characters will still be blatant, and the animation will still be cheap-o! But now, thanks to Flex Central's help, the series will be even better! Just in case if you are curious, I will still voice the characters and help out Flex on some new scripts and other ideas.
