John Madden is a legendary football coach, and since we are fans of football, we can confirm that this is indeed the case.
When he was young, he attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a Catholic school with John Robinson, a man best known as a head coach of the USC Trojans, and now is recently known as being a consultant to Ed Orgeron, who coached the LSU Tigers football team.
When John Madden was a coach, he impacted one of the biggest NFL teams, the Las Vegas Raiders, then known as the Oakland Raiders. Simply put, he helped them win six division titles in a row during the 1970's.
But what we believe he is best known for is his sportscasting career. Ever since 1979, he had been doing this career for many different sports networks, from CBS Sports to NBC Sports.
Additionally, he also played himself in the film Little Giants, as well as a fictional commentator in the film The Replacements. He also had a massively popular sports game series, the Madden games.
But, unfortunately, as this article's name implies, John Madden is no longer with us, as he died in his home on December 28, 2021 of an unknown cause.
So, you might be asking yourself, "Will John Tvs recognize John Madden?". The answer is "Yes".
Our newest episode of Workin' Stiff and Friends, The Toronto Raptors Special, is all about Barney The Dinosaur making Toronto Raptors players cheat by using steroids. So, who gets called in for help by Workin' Stiff? John Madden of course!
We thought that he would be perfect for the role of a sportscaster in the episode, and we weren't wrong. After John Madden has unfortunately passed away, this will be a great time to honor his legacy of making football a more fun sport for everybody.
